Veterans Memorial Hospital is a crital access hospital located in Waukon -- a rural community in the very northeast corner of Iowa -- has been serving Allamakee County and the surrounding area-communities for 7 decades. The recent completion of a major building and renovation project was made possible by the generosity of the people we serve. The one thing that has always remained the same is the quality, personalized care delivered with integrity by all members on our health care team.

Our friendly, helpful team at Veterans Memorial Hospital is happy to pitch in to help our area non-profit organizations.  Each year in Monona, we provide at no-charge 4 hand washing stations over the 2nd Saturday in June weekend for Friday's Monona Fire Dept.'s 5K Glow Run/Fun Walk fundraiser at Monona City Park, and Saturday's Monona Hay Days festival, parade & tractor pull in historic downtown Monona.
