Garden View Senior Community
We’re all on this journey together, & our staff at Garden View commits to all who enter our doors that we will:
RESPECT everyone for who they are and who they may become;
RECOGNIZE that every person is unique and has their own set of values, beliefs, ideas, and ways of doing things; and,
RESPOND responsibly to everyone's concerns, needs, and ideas.
For more information about our friendly and caring staff, facility, and services, please contact our executive director Randee Koenig at (563) 539-4528.
Enjoy a leisurely stroll around our well-maintained and carefully-manicured Garden View Park & Trail nestled in northeast Iowa's gently rolling hills, part of the scenic Driftless Area. Our trail connects with Monona Butterfly Gardens & Trail for an extended stroll in wooded surroundings. Relax for a spell on a shaded park bench in the beautiful gardens to watch the birds and butterflies and smell the perfumed perennial blooms.
Walk with your grandchildren
to play at the nearby Garden View
city park & playground.
Part of Tealwood Care Centers, Garden View Senior Community is a 34-unit assisted-living facility with on-site licensed staff, a wide range of optional home services and Enhanced Memory Care services. Our facility is located in Monona, Clayton County, Iowa in the northeastern tip of our great state.
Our mission here at Garden View is simple — to make sure we do everything possible to enrich the lives of everyone we serve. Each and every person who has become part of our family will be treated with the utmost respect, compassion and dignity. That includes promoting individuality, independence and choice.
One morning we were up "bright and early" to go to the elementary school to read with the children. What a wonderful feeling -- as much as we love and appreciate all those caring individuals who come in to our house to volunteer time -- we can also share our time to help our future leaders from MFL MarMac!
We plan to visit every other Wednesday. And the school can always use more reading volunteers, so we challenge you too to share some time -- contact Heidi Meyer at Monona's elementary school. The school's oldest volunteer, Mrs. Florence Bruns, is shown above listening to a young student read a book to her.
